2016 Registration Open

The Arkansas 500 new website is up and registration is open. This year we are including a t-shirt! I like to keep this ride between 50-60 riders, tops. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Check the first post to see how many have signed up. Many wait until the 10 day weather forecast is up to registrer. This risk you being able to get on the “in” list.

Hey Scott, I’ve scoured the site and don’t see the dates. If like years past, then 2nd weekend of April, so 8 – 10 April in 2016?
    Thanks. van Moto

Jay, the registration is open, here is a post from the ADV:

I have been able, with the help if Oleary, to come up with a solution to the closed registration for riders. Both state parks and national parks will reserve a limited number of sites to one individual. I have far exceeded my limit (after much begging) and had to close registration based on sites. If you would like to ride please be responsible for your own campsite April 8 at Lake Fort Smith State Park and April 9 at The Buffalo Point Campground. Below are the links:

Lake Fort Smith State Park – at this park I have site 5-20. April 8th.
Buffalo Point Campground – at this park get anything in or close to section D. April 9th.

After booking a site (maybe you could collaborate here, on the forum, and share?) look on the website (www.arkansas500.com) for the conditional registration link. There will be plenty room in the sag wagon and plenty food for everyone, so we can now add additional riders. See you in the woods!

Next year this problem will be solved by camping at locations without limits. Sorry for the disruption…carry on…

I would like to register two riders

Go to http://www.arkansas500.com. The registration link is live. You must reserve your own site at both campgrounds. They will not let me reserve more, that was the hold up.
